The recent recall by the Topps Meat Company LLC., located in Elizabeth, N.J. announced September 25, 2007 does not involve BUBBA FOODS, LLC or the BUBBA Burger®.

The recent recall by the Topps Meat Company LLC., located in Elizabeth, N.J. announced September 25, 2007 does not involve Bubba Foods, LLC or the BUBBA burger®. 

Bubba Foods, LLC produces all burgers distributed and sold under the BUBBA burger® label in our U.S.D.A. state of the art production facility located in Elberton, GA.  Unlike most other burgers the BUBBA burger® uses only 100% whole muscle U.S.D.A. Choice Chucks or Rounds.  Raw materials used in the production of the BUBBA burgers are tested for E. coli 0157:H7 prior to receipt and production. Finished product is tested prior to release and shipment from the BUBBA burger® plant.  These tests are undertaken to maintain the highest and safest standards for the BUBBA burger® consumer and far exceed industry standards.

 The BUBBA burger® does not contain any additives, extenders, trimmings, preservatives or color enhancers other than sweet Vidalia onions in our BUBBA sweet onion burger® and real jalapenos in our BUBBA jalapeno burger®.
