Country Fried Skinny BUBBA Burger®

Ingredients:

1 box Reduced Fat BUBBA burgers®
1/2 pint low fat milk
1 cup Egg Beaters (or two large eggs)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 teaspoon ground black peppercorns
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
9 ounce container panko breadcrumbs
Can of canola oil

Directions:

Take BUBBA burgers from the freezer and place in the refrigerator for at least 6-8 hours, leave in the box for safe handling. In a small, shallow dish mix milk, eggs, ½ of the salt and cayenne pepper for an egg wash. Next take flour and place on a deep plate. Fold in remainder of the salt and the ground peppercorns. Take another deep plate and put in a 2 inch covering of bread crumbs.

Open the BUBBA burgers® carefully as not to damage the burgers; remove from protective sleeve. Place the partially-thawed BUBBA burgers® in the flour mixture, one at a time, and lightly press and coat on both sides. Then dip into egg wash and then into bread crumbs. Place into a sprayed pre-heated 350 degree F cast-iron pan or smooth grill pan. Cook 10 minutes on first side, spray a thin coating of oil on top of burger then flip to the other side. Should appear golden brown. Let other side cook for an additional 6-8 minutes. Serve immediately. Serve with pan gravy or use your favorite canned cream soup to top.
