Southwest Jalapeno Burger

Serves: 6

This can be cooked on a fry pan, charcoal or gas grill. For fewer carbs hold the Pita Bread or serve 1/2 piece only!

Ingredients:

6 Jalapeno BUBBA burgers®
6 thick slices of sharp cheddar cheese
6 pieces of round soft pita bread
1/2oz. ranch dressing
1 spoonful of your favorite salsa – room temperature
6 fresh jalapeno peppers – split open and grilled

Directions:

Cook the Jalapeno burgers over medium heat. When the juices rise to the top, turn the burgers over. Place the cheddar cheese on top of turned burger. Plate the burgers after a total of 7-10 minutes of cooking. Spread ranch dressing on 1 side of toasted pita bread - toast on grill or pan. Open jar of room temperature salsa and place 1 spoonful on each burger. Add grilled Jalapeno peppers on top. Serve with corn chips.
